Shirley Elspeth Mennel

Shirley Elspeth Mennel, born on August 8, 1941, in Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband, Marc; her sons, Paul of Toronto and Peter of Alexis; her siblings, Gary, Doug, Bobby, and Nancy; her sister-in-law, Bev; and her parents, Bert Neil and Barbara Neil. Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd., located at 507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5. A memorial service took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wilmot & Wellesley Resource Centre - Food Bank, the Canadian Cancer Society, or Make A Wish Canada.
