Sandra Marie Logel
Sandra Marie Logel, born in 1941 and raised in Kitchener, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at WRHN @ Queen's (formerly St. Mary's Hospital). She was 85 years old. Sandra was survived by her husband of nearly 64 years, Dave Logel, and her sister Sharon Armstrong of Mapleridge, British Columbia, as well as brother Robert Walker (Catherine Green) of Peterborough, Ontario, aunt Yvonne Pagani of Burlington, Ontario, and numerous nieces, nephews, and in‑laws. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Marie Walker, uncle Dick Pagani, and Barry Armstrong. Sandra attended St. Mary's High School and later Lougheed Business College, where she met her future sister‑in‑law Marj and was introduced to Dave. They married on September 8, 1962, and lived on Gildner Street in Kitchener. Her career included work at John Walter and Son (Copper Craft) and later as a therapy assistant at KidsAbility Rotary Centre, where she valued working with children. Sandra and Dave supported a farm near Macton, Ontario, named Sandavey Farms, raising Charolais cattle and enjoying gardening, reading, and family meals. She also traveled widely throughout Europe and Canada. Funeral arrangements are with Erb & Good Family Funeral Home Ltd.
