Robertson Vincent Gibbons

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robertson Vincent Gibbons of Kitchener, Ontario, who departed this life on October 12, 2026, at the age of 93. He is predeceased by his siblings, Margaret (Conrad Myers), Joan (Glen Welton), Gertrude (Kevin Donovan), Gordon, Wilfrid (Marjorie), and James (Sheila); his daughter-in-law Jeanette; and his grandson Steven. Robertson is survived by his beloved wife Marlene; his children, Douglas (Cheryl), Duncan (Karen), David, Donald (Natalie), and Linda (Rick); and his sisters-in-law, Maureen and Mary. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation took place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd., located at 507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5. A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same venue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society - Waterloo Wellington, which can be done at the funeral home or directly through the charity's website.
