Robert "Bob Knacker" KNACK

Robert "Bob" Knack, aged 75, passed away on August 31, 2026, at WRHN @ Chicopee in Kitchener, Ontario. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (nee Comeau) for 51 years. Bob was the loving son of Ruth and the late Wilbur, and he is survived by his brothers Tom (Joan) and Gary, as well as his step-sister Janet Dedicick (Peter). He was a cherished brother-in-law to Roger Comeau (Jocelyne), Nicole Savoie (Gary), Rachel Comeau, and Chantal Savoie (Luc), and predeceased by Paul Comeau (Lauralee). Bob leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with many friends from the sports community. A passionate sports enthusiast, Bob played hockey and coached local teams, fostering friendships throughout his life. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at St. Mary's and Freeport palliative care for their compassionate care. In accordance with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering has been held. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, or a charity of choice.
