Ray Stephen Heimpel

Ray Stephen Heimpel of Kitchener, Ontario, passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on August 20, 1945, Ray was a cherished member of his family and community. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Darlene Heimpel (nee Kelly), and his brothers, Ross, Don, and Harold. Ray is survived by his children, Rob (Oonagh) and Kelly (Greg), as well as his grandchildren, Hannah, Grayden, Granger, and Bailey. He is also remembered by his sister, Audrey, along with numerous relatives and friends who will carry forward the memories of his character and spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospice Waterloo Region.
