Patricia Anne Keilhau passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of Karl Keilhau, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Patricia was also the dear sister of Linda Kellaway of the UK, and the dear friend of Karl's sisters, Ruth Dahms and Rosemarie Widmaier. She was the stepmother of Lori Ann Bowes and Steven Keilhau. Patricia was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Smith of the UK. Born in Chatham, Kent, UK, Patricia spent her childhood in Rochester, Kent, surrounded by the historic Rochester Castle and Cathedral. She was an accomplished roller dancer and excelled in typing, shorthand, and bookkeeping. Patricia immigrated to Canada in 1969 and had a successful career as an executive administrator. She co-founded an amateur theatre group in Etobicoke and later co-founded Regional Search Consultants, a successful Executive Search firm in Waterloo, with her husband Karl. In her retirement, Patricia and Karl spent winters in the Florida Panhandle, where they enjoyed daily walks with their dog Josie and other activities. Patricia was a loving and selfless person who maintained a sunny disposition despite her failing health. She was predeceased by her father, a career soldier and Dunkirk survivor.
