Patricia Ann (nee Karges) Schultz
Patty Schultz (nee Karges) passed away on May 1st, 2026, at the age of 71. She was the loving wife of John Schultz, cherished sister of Jim (Kim) Karges, Cathy (Mike) Schlupp, Brian (Alina) Karges, and Karen (Tom) Schlupp, and sister-in-law to Deb (Art) White and Carol (Rick) Fleming. Patty was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Cecilia Karges. She is forever loved by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Patty spent most of her life helping people and was a proud nurse at Grand River (now known as WRHN) for almost 40 years. She volunteered at Innisfree for 10 years and then another two years at Hospice of Waterloo. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses in the ICU at WRHN, Guelph Hospital, and at Hospice of Waterloo for their amazing care. Patty's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. A service will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception. Those unable to attend may join the service via live stream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming.
