Nancy Rose MARKOVINA (nee Shopa)

Nancy Rose Markovina (nee Shopa) passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 83. She was a loving wife and best friend of John Markovina, with whom she shared 65 beautiful years of marriage. Nancy was also a cherished mother of Veronica Feldcamp and Marieanne Markovina, and a fondly remembered grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her parents Elsie Shopa and John Shopa, and her brothers John, Frank, and sister Jeannie. A longtime parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church, Nancy dedicated many years of her life to her work as a hairdresser. Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, Waterloo, on February 19, 2026, and a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's RC Church, Kitchener, on February 20, 2026.
