Nancy Elizabeth FIETSCH
Nancy Elizabeth Fietsch passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Venita, and her siblings Margaret Brubacher (Gordon), Helen Patricia Stumpf (Edgar), and Robert (Rieta). Nancy is survived by her nieces and nephews, including Sandra Cole (nee Brubacher) (Irwin), William Brubacher (Gail), and Lisa Legault (nee Fietsch) (Bernie), as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. Nancy graduated from St. Mary's High School and was a dedicated employee of the Toronto Dominion bank for 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, playing the violin, oil painting, and creating intricate stained glass. The family would like to thank Dr. Patel, nurse practitioner Carm, and the nurses on 4 South at Hamilton General Hospital for their care of Nancy. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. A Memorial Liturgy will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with a reception to follow. A private family interment has taken place at Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the SPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
