Milena MARAS

Milena Maras, a beloved mother, passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 76, in Burnaby, BC. Born on May 1, 1950, in Ladići, Croatia, Milena immigrated to Canada in 1974 with her husband, Angelo Maras. She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo, her mother, her father, and her eldest brother. Milena is lovingly remembered by her children: Sophia (Joe, Alex, and Christoph), Angela, and Stephan (Lydia, Angelo, and Luka), as well as extended family and many dear friends. Family will receive guests at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre for visitation from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20th. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Francis of Assisi at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Milena's memory.
