Michael "Mike" KRYS

Michael 'Mike' Krys passed away peacefully with family by his side at his residence on June 25, 2026, at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Brenda Noreen (Williams) Krys, whom he married on September 13, 1969. Mike was the loving father of Jon and his wife Tammy of New Hamburg, Jeremy and his wife Tracy of Chilliwack, B.C., and Jaime Krys of Kitchener. He was the cherished Papa of Zachariah Krys, Mikayla Krys, Darien Krys, Phoenix Krys, and Lukas Sobotka. Mike is survived by his sister, Nettie Farkasdi of Edmonton, Alberta, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Annie (Yaremie) Krys, and his brothers, Bill, Jim, Peter, Paul (Edna Patterson), Steve (Jeanette Linkewich), Harry, and sisters, Kay (Walter Moore), Mary (Fred Schrader), Helen (John Adamarczuk), Sophie, and Nettie (Harry Tymko). Relatives and friends are invited to the Francis Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home.
