Mary Jane (Chisholm) KNECHTEL

Mary Jane (Chisholm) Knechtel passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 7, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Stevan for 52 years and a devoted mother to Lindsay, married to Dale Skyers, and Alison, married to Josh Piel. Mary Jane was a proud and loving grandmother to Danika, Jayda, Zane, Ethan, Freya, and Ryker. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Marilyn Jones, as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law: David and Louise, Kathy and Steve, and Laurie and George. Mary Jane was predeceased by her parents, John and Eunice Chisholm; her twin brother, John V. Chisholm; and her brother-in-law, Cliff Jones. A visitation will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre in Kitchener on Tuesday, April 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the National Service Dogs.
