Martha Jadischke

Martha Jadischke passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at Lanark Heights LTC in Kitchener, Ontario, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund, who died in 1994, and a dear friend of the late Helmut. Martha was the mother of Alfred (Paula) and the late Donna Ashworth, formerly McClintock. Her grandchildren included Erin McClintock (Chris), the late Melissa McClintock, who died in 2006, and Samantha Erb (Jonathan). She was also a great‑grandmother to Melody, Rory, Norah and Violet. Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Olga, and her sister Lydia Frey (Ernest), she is remembered by Michael McClintock. Martha was a longtime member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Schwaben Club. Relatives and friends may gather on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery. The family requests donations to the WRHN Cancer Centre, which can be made at the funeral home or online, with notification to the funeral home.
