Marion Helene McCarter

Marion Helene McCarter passed away on June 11, 2026, at Lanark Heights in Kitchener, ON, at the age of 97. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold McCarter, who predeceased her in 1997, and the late Francis Crandell, who predeceased her in 2021. Marion was the loving mother of Wayne McCarter and his wife Annamarie, Deb McCarter, Sue McCarter, Paul McCarter and his wife Barb, and stepmother to Glenn Crandell. She was a cherished grandmother of Stefanie, Sara, Stuart, Amy, Emily, Paul, Andrew, Ben, Adam, and Luke, and a beloved great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Bruce and Edna, and her siblings. A private interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception at the family home. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed via livestream. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
