Margaret ORR

Margaret Orr (nee Metcalfe) was born on June 23, 1940, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at the age of 85, at WRHN Midtown after a hard-fought illness. She is survived by her husband, Laurence Orr, whom she married on September 13, 1960, and her children Colin Orr (Shelley), Paul Orr, Alan Orr (Stacey Dupuis), Gillian Cleasby (Elwood), and Stephen Orr (Pam Gingerich). She is also survived by her grandchildren Justin Orr, Renae Orr (Matej Perisa), Ryan Orr (Shannon Johnston), Heather Muter (Dan), and Ian Cleasby, as well as her great-grandchildren Kieran, Bowie, Deaglan, Landon, Hayden, Harleigh, and Audrey. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings Kathleen Masaroon, David Metcalfe (Laura), and Lynda Morrissey (Kevin), as well as her many nieces and nephew. Margaret was predeceased by her father David, mother Kathleen, brother-in-law Gary Masaroon, and son Robert. A visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, for private family from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and for friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family or donations to WRHN Foundation or the Food Bank of Waterloo region may be arranged through the funeral home.
