Maizie Ina Evers passed away in Kitchener, Ontario on October 14, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on February 26, 1929, Maizie is survived by her children, Roy Evers, Louise Horst, Gerald Evers (Karel), and Maribeth Meijer (Rob), along with her daughter-in-law Marg Evers. She was predeceased by her husband Elgin Evers, her son Doug Evers, and her daughter-in-law Kathy Evers (Campbell). Maizie is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
