Laurel Ann Laking

Laurel Ann Laking of Kitchener, Ontario, passed away on September 24, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband, Ron, as well as her parents, Dudley and Irene Kitchen. Laurel Ann is survived by her children, Michael Laking (Susan) and Carolyn Niebel (Paul DeVrieze), along with her siblings, Sharon Palloway (Tom) and Mark Kitchen (Jess). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Delaney Laking, Natasha Steffler (Mitch), Cassidy, and Katie DeVrieze, and her great-grandchildren, Maverick and Landon Steffler. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sunnyside Foundation or Parkinson Canada as expressions of sympathy.
