Joseph Sutherland
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Joseph Sutherland of Kitchener, Ontario, who departed this life on October 7, 2026, at the age of 80. Joseph was born on November 18, 1945. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Sutherland, as well as his siblings, Jim and Mary. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Yvonne Sutherland, and their sons, Joseph Sutherland (Patricia Syms Sutherland), Scott Sutherland (Caroline Floyd), and Ron Sutherland (Kat Mrmak). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Quinn and Fiona, along with his siblings, Neil, Patrick, Francis, Yvonne, and Cathy. Visitation took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd., located at 507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5. A prayer service was conducted on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the same location. The funeral service was held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd.
