Joan Frances Rowe

Joan Frances Rowe passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 99, with her children by her side. She was the mother of Mitchell (Louise), Shereen and the late Tom (predeceased in August 2025). Joan was also known as Granny Bones to Ben, Genevieve (Denis) and Alister (Meghan), and Great-Granny to Xavier, Makenna, Isla, Tyler, Emerick and Devin. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob (November 2024), and her sisters Margaret Blackwood (John) and Ruth Mack (John). As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parents for Community Living would be greatly appreciated, as Joan and her late husband Bob were instrumental in starting the organization and were one of the founding families. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home.
