Jo-Anne "Jo" Morgan
Jo-Anne 'Jo' Morgan passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 68, after a brief illness, surrounded by her family. Born on January 18, 1958, in Kitchener, Ontario, Jo is survived by her husband Geoff, daughter Emma and her husband Ciaran, son Dean and his wife Hannah, and younger brothers Steve and his wife Debbie, and Rob and his wife Christine. She was predeceased by her parents Merton 'Mert' and Muriel 'Monie' Morgan. Jo attended local schools and later earned a psychology degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. She worked at various institutions, including Mary's Place and Conestoga College. Jo met her husband Geoff while working at Chicopee Ski Hill, and they later lived in Banff, where she worked at Phil's Pancake House. The couple married in 1996 and had two children, Emma and Dean. Jo spent her life caring for her family and enjoyed spending time with them, as well as her three dogs, in her backyard or by the fireplace. She loved nature and cherished places like Ucluelet, Kaslo, Manitoulin Island, and Sestri Levante. Jo's family requests that in her memory, people take time to appreciate nature and support healthcare workers.
