Jim Huxted

Jim Huxted passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at WRHN at Midtown, Kitchener, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra; his children Dwayne, Cheryl, Deb, and Kim; his grandchildren Colin, Shawna, Erin, Alicia, Ian, Jessica, Scott, and Mathew; his sisters Marilyn and Beverly; and his two great-granddaughters, Kayleigh and Olivia. He was predeceased by his beloved son Scott, his sister Sharon, and his parents Annie and Albert. A celebration of life will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home's Fireside Reception Room, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with remarks at 2:30 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. In lieu of flowers, condolences or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be arranged through the funeral home.
