Jane Marie (née Plante) DeVRIES

Jane Marie (née Plante) DeVRIES passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at WRHN @ Chicopee (Freeport Hospital) in Kitchener, Ontario, at the age of 77. Born in Galt, Ontario, she was the firstborn of six children: Brian, Randy (Daphne), Rick (Grace), and Kim. Jane will be missed by her beloved children Drew and Dan Plante of Kitchener. She is also survived by her nieces Rickey-Lee, Kimmie, Kaitlyn, Meghan, and Jessica. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Marie (née White) deVries and her sister Karen. Cremation has taken place, and as per Jane's wishes, there will be no memorial service. A private interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Breslau, Ontario.
