Isobel Marion Denomme (née Blake) passed away on February 27, 2026, in her 92nd year of life, surrounded by her family. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, the late Albert Denomme, and children Judith and Stephen. Marion will be deeply missed by her children, Sandra (James Vaughan), Sharon, Nancy, Kelly, and Lisa (Neil Hanson). She was the cherished grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of three. Daughter of the late Vera and Albert Blake, Marion was also the dear sister of Harold (Norma) and Marjorie (the late Lindo Dermo), and was predeceased by siblings Delbert (Francis), Douglas (Connie), Robert, Roy (Doris), and Ruby (Donny Ueberschlag). A dedicated homemaker, Marion's kitchen was famous for her perfected butter tarts, carrot cake, and apple pie. Guided by faith and a strong sense of service, she devoted many years volunteering with Kitchener's 'Out of the Cold' program and was a lifelong fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. In keeping with Marion's wishes, a private family interment will be held in the spring. The family is grateful to the medical professionals and personal support workers who cared for Marion in her final years. Donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation - Parents for Community Living Robert Denomme Fund would be appreciated by the family.
