Ida Amelia KRIEGER FOWLER

Ida Amelia Krieger Fowler passed away peacefully at Innisfree House on April 14, 2026, at the age of 102. She was born on April 4, 1924, on the family farm in Shantz Station. Ida is survived by her cousins Carolyn Israel and Archie Israel, niece Janet Publicover, nephew Curtis Krieger, and seven great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Earle Fowler, parents Herbert and Elizabeth, brothers Donald, Archibald, and Hubert, sister Audrey, nephews Miln Krieger, and great-nephew Cole Bey. Ida worked at Smiles and Chuckles Chocolate Factory for 17 years and then at Kabels Clothing for 19 years. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Kitchener. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery. As per Ida's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family or donations to Innisfree House may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home.
