Howard Clausen

Howard Clausen passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on August 5, 2026, at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband of the late Gwendolyn Walker Clausen, who predeceased him in 1998. Howard is survived by his loving children, Diane and her husband Thomas Richard of Millbrook, and Paul and his wife Ann of Waterloo, as well as his proud grandchildren, Rebecca, Natalie, Eric, Colin, and John, and great-grandchildren, Lucy and Walker. He is also survived by his brother, Heiner, and predeceased by his siblings, Christa and Peter. A private interment will take place at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. The family extends their gratitude to the staff and friends at Aspira Hygate Waterloo Retirement Living and his healthcare team for their care and support.
