Henriqueta Vieira de Oliveira Simoes

Henriqueta Vieira de Oliveira Simoes passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 5, 2026, in Kitchener, at the age of 88. She was a devoted Catholic and will be deeply missed by her two sons, Phil and Tony, and their wives, Eduarda and Cathy. Henriqueta is also survived by her four grandchildren, Brandon, Robert, Ryan, and Sarah, as well as her siblings Maria, Jaime, Emilia, and Ezequiel. She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio Simoes, in 1997, and her sister Maria-Jose. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home on August 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church on August 20, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment will take place in Portugal at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PSP Society of Canada, either at the funeral home or through their website.
