Hellen Faye Lathey

Hellen Faye Lathey passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on November 23, 1928, in Crookston, Hastings County, Ontario, she lived a full life. She is survived by her sons, Geoffrey and Christopher, her grandson, Adrian, her granddaughter, Shannon, her great-grandson, Heathcliff, her nephew, Lorne, her nieces, Kendra and Heather, and her cousin, Susan. She was predeceased by her husband, Keith Ernest Lathey, her son, John Robertson Keith Lathey, her parents, Myrtle Elizabeth and John Robertson Wellman, her brother, Arthur Wellman, and his wife, June. Hellen Faye spent many years as an Executive Assistant with CMHC in Ottawa and Kitchener. She enjoyed various activities, including knitting, crossword puzzles, flower arranging, and watching figure skating competitions. Her family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre on Sunday, February 22nd from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Private inurnment will follow in the summer.
