Harry GYSBERS

Harry Hans Gysbers of Kitchener passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 79 following a bicycle accident. A retired police staff sergeant, he served the community for 41 years, embodying dedication and compassion. He completed the New York City Marathon in 3 hours 53 minutes, ranking 8,269th among 22,317 finishers, and was also a licensed pilot and avid sailor. Harry is survived as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, remembered for his steady presence, humor and willingness to help others.
