Harold Michael "Mike" Furst

Harold Michael 'Mike' Furst passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026, after a brief, but aggressive illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Laura; his adored son, Ian; his cherished daughter-in-law, Siobhan; and his precious grandsons, Liam and Tom. Mike was also close to Siobhan's family, the large O'Leary clan, and Lionel Ohayon, who became like extended family to him. A celebration of Mike's life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 1 p.m., followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wildlife Haven Waterloo or National Service Dogs would be appreciated by the family.
