Georgina Evens

Georgina Evens passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Sunnyside Home at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Winston, who predeceased her in 1969. Georgina was a loving mother to Lloyd and his wife Carla, Nancy, and Larry and his wife Monica. She was a proud grandmother of Zachary and his wife Brittany, Tanner, Luke, and a great-grandmother of Jaxson and Arya. Georgina is also sadly missed by her loving pet, Bella. She was the daughter of the late Anne and George Snider, and sister of the late Dorothy and Gord. Georgina is survived by her brother-in-law Doug Uhrig and sister-in-law Lorrie Snider. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception. Interment will take place at Bloomingdale Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bloomingdale United Church or KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
