Gary DINES

Gary Dines of Kitchener, Ontario, born on March 22, 1930, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 96. He is remembered fondly by friends and family for the connections he made and the experiences he shared. Gary was predeceased by his wife Barbara, his sister Carol Kitchen (late Chuck), and his parents, George and Imogene 'Shorty' Moore. He is survived by his children, Karen Anderson (late Tom), Gary Jr., and Scott (Terri), as well as his sister Janice Roth (late Marsh) and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Henry Walser Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnyside Foundation or the Food Bank of Waterloo Region are appreciated.
