Gareth Emmanuel Pickering

Gareth Emmanuel Pickering passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 35. He was the beloved son of Anthony Pickering and Sherron Thorne, and much-loved brother of Kaliesha and Blue. Gareth was also a devoted uncle to Cecilia and proud godfather of Asia. He is survived by his grandparents Jean and Chris Pickering, and predeceased by his grandparents Cedric and Norma Thorne. Gareth will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. A funeral service will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, followed by interment at Williamsburg Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated in his memory.
