Francisco Nunes

The family of Francisco Nunes announces his passing on September 3, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on March 10, 1945, Francisco was a beloved figure in his community. He is predeceased by his wife, Maria Nunes, and his child, Orlanda Amorim Odete (Carlos). Francisco is survived by his sons, Fernando Nunes and Philip Nunes (Gina), along with his grandchildren Elisha (Mat), Nicholas, Makayla, Makenna, Tyler, Devin, Joshua, Gabriel, and Anthony. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Luca, Isabella, Amilia, Athena, and Olivia, as well as his sister, Onoria Fonte. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament RC Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the WRHN Foundation, Canadian Lung Association, or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
