Elizabeth Thompson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Thompson, who departed this life on October 3, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on May 7, 1937, Elizabeth was a cherished member of her family and community in Kitchener, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husbands, William 'Bill' Thompson and Gerald 'Gerry' Bonneau, as well as her parents, Karl and Hedwig Wappler, and her brothers, Alfred and Arthur (late Daryl). Elizabeth is survived by her brother Ken Wappler (Patrice), sister-in-law Peggy Wappler, and her beloved nieces and nephews: Valerie, Jim (Barb), Korrina (Chris), and Kirsten (Adam). Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. Donations in her memory may be made to Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice, either at the funeral home or through their website.
