Elizabeth Odelia Karl

Elizabeth Odelia Karl, born on May 7, 1932, passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 94. She is survived by her significant other, Ivan Karl, and her children: Kathleen of Kitchener, Helen (Peter) of Connecticut, and James of Halifax. Elizabeth also leaves behind her grandchildren, Lisa, Sara, Brigitte (Will), Christian, and Kristina, as well as her great-grandchildren, Riley, Ben, and Clara. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Bertha Blythe (Goetz), and is also survived by her brothers, Gerald, Pat, Joe, and Odelia Goetz, along with her siblings-in-law, Leonard Karl (Dorothy) of Hanover, Mary Ann Karl of Kitchener, and Jean Blythe of London. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony Daniel Catholic Church, followed by a reception and a committal service at Marymount Cemetery.
