Elizabeth (Hay) Eder
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Hay) Eder of Kitchener, Ontario, who departed this life on October 6, 2026, at the age of 99. Elizabeth was born on June 28, 1927. She was predeceased by her husband Wilhelm, her parents Martin and Susanna Hay, and her siblings Susanna, Margareta, Magdalene, Peter, Martin, and Barbara. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Hanna (Stephen), Helmuth (Leslie), and Gary (Della), along with her grandchildren Joshua (Krista), Jonathan (Marcia), Adam (Laura), Jacob (Temi), Andrew (Kelly), Adrianna (Bryan), Katelyn (Ben), Olivia, and Alexander (Robyn). She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Teagan, Kaelyn, Mackenzie, Tyson, Milo, Zander, Oliver, Noah, Fletcher, Colin, Sadie, and Conrad. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, followed by burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Breslau at 2:00 PM. Donations to the Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly - Missions would be appreciated.
