Elisabeth ALBRECHT

Elisabeth Albrecht passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Home, at the age of 94. She was the cherished wife of the late Wilhelm, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage, and the loving mother to Diana. She was a proud and deeply loved grandmother to Tyler, Connor, and Cole. Elisabeth is also survived by her sister-in-law, Vera, and by nieces and nephews in Germany. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Elisabeth Nagel, parents-in-law, Friedrich and Martha Albrecht, sister-in-law, Ilse, and brothers-in-law, Fritz and Hans. Born in Hungary in 1931, Elisabeth immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1953 and later met her husband Wilhelm in Kitchener, where they were married on March 31, 1956, at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Elisabeth worked at various places, including Forsyth Shirt Factory and Central Meat Market, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, sewing, and tending to her garden.
