Elaine "Liz" Marion (nee Ruby) MUTER (Schmidt)

Elaine 'Liz' Marion Muter passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2026, at the age of 74, at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener. Born on June 12, 1952, in Kitchener, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Marjorie Forler. Liz is survived by her daughter Lisa Schmidt, and siblings Randy, Kevin, and Paul Forler. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence 'Lawrie' Muter in 2018. Liz will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and reading, and shared a special bond with her cat, Velvet. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be announced later. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through Mark Jutzi funeral home.
