Dumitru Ichim

Dumitru Ichim, a resident of Kitchener, Ontario, was born on August 14, 1944, and died on August 17, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his father Dumitru Stăniloae, his wife Florica, his mother Elena, and his siblings Tinka and Nistor. He is survived by his children Thomas, Christine Victoria (Terry), Julian, Gloria, Christopher (Natasha) and Matthew (Melissa), as well as his grandchildren Raihanna, Terra, Anthony, Patrick, Tiffany and Charlotte. Visitation took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, 2150 Bleams Rd, Kitchener, ON. A wake was held the same evening at 7:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., and burial at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, 175 Moore Ave, Kitchener, ON.
