Douglas E. (Doug) Johannes

Douglas E. (Doug) Johannes passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Keitha (nee Hildebrand) for 64 years. Doug was the loving father of Craig (Joanne), Grant (Edna), Alison Fowler (David), and Steven (Tina). He was also the loving papa to Ryan (Dianna), Miranda, Kelsey (Josh), Melissa, Madison (Cade), and Connor, and proud great-Papa to Payton Marie Matheson. Doug was the dear brother of Louise Dakin and was predeceased by his parents James and Clara Johannes, brothers George and Robert, sisters Mary Beckman (Rusty) and Marjorie Findlay (Duncan), and brothers-in-law Douglas Dakin and James Moyer. Doug will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, and visitation will continue from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. on Friday. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Sunnyside Home for their tender loving palliative care to Doug in his last days.
