Doreen V. Heard

Doreen V. Heard passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the age of 83. She was the loving mom to Kathy Heard and her husband John Ferguson, and Jon Heard and his wife Denise. Doreen was the cherished Grandma to Lia and Sammie and her husband Nick. She was the dear sister-in-law to Glady Gordon and aunt to Joe Gordon and his wife Stephanie, and Grant Gordon and his wife Heather Shedden. Doreen was also the sister-in-law of Donna Gordon and her husband Andy. She is fondly remembered by Douglas Heard. Doreen was predeceased by her son Chris Heard, her parents Robert George and Dorothy Victoria Gordon, and her brothers Bill Gordon and Jim Gordon. Doreen was an emergency room nurse at St. Mary's Hospital for 50 years. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home. A celebration of Doreen's life will be held in the Foxboro Green Recreation Centre in May, with the date and time to be announced.
