Diane Patricia Hempey

Diane Patricia Hempey of Kitchener, Ontario, passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on January 23, 1943, Diane was a beloved member of her family and community. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joan Graham (Russell), Rhona Layton (Phil), Barry Ledwidge (Anne), and her brothers Ernie, Tom (Mickey), John, and Walter Hempey. Diane is survived by her husband, Paul Hempey; her children, Caroline Zimmermann (Ken) and Brent Hempey (Tara Proper); and her grandchildren, Brandon Zimmermann (Mackenzie), Kaleigh Zimmermann (Devon Murdock), Dylan, Jordan, and Alexis Hempey. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law, Wanda, Christine, and Barbara, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre. Donations in Diane's name may be made to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth.
