Derek Foster

Derek Foster passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at his home, at the age of 93. He was the beloved and devoted husband of 66 years to Phyllis, who predeceased him in 2020. Derek is lovingly remembered by his son Dean and daughter-in-law Helen, his grandchildren Brendan and Santana, Leander and Jen, and Dimitri and Julie, as well as his great-grandchildren Olivia and Emilio, and a new great-granddaughter on the way. He is also survived by his brother Ronald. Derek's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, following the visitation, at 3:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the WRHN Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
