Dennis Gordon Saunders

Dennis Gordon Saunders passed away at his home on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Saunders. Dennis was the loving father of Tori Kaufman (Tim) and the proud Papa of Joshua (Mandy), Tyler (Amanda), Joel, Mitchell (Veronica), and Coral (Sean). He was the cherished Great-Papa of Andrew, Kylie, Salem, Walker, and Kellan. Dennis is survived by his sister-in-law Dona Saunders and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Troy Saunders and his brothers Alan, Harvey, Ted, and Garry. Dennis was a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy and the longest serving member of the KW Naval Association. A Celebration of Dennis' Life will be held at the KW Naval Association on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and all are welcome. Cremation has taken place, and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Donations may be made at the funeral home or online directly through the charity's website. The family would like to thank all of the friends and neighbours of Dennis who have helped him over the last few years.
