Catherine (nee Scott) KNIPFEL

Catherine 'Cathy' Knipfel passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 80. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Cathy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and compassion enriched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her children Dean Knipfel and Ryan Knipfel, and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Alexis Knipfel, Abby Kelson, Talia Maclellan, Brooke Knipfel, and David Adams. Cathy is also survived by her siblings, Norma Richardson, Evelyn Randall, Grace Fraser, Carol Schwartz, Jim Boshart, Susan Erb, Brenda Atchison, and Joyce Schwartzentruber. She is predeceased by her husband, Bill, her brothers, Wally Scott, Joe Scott, Larry Bosahrt, and her parents, Delton Boshart, Helen Schwartzentruber, Walter Scott, and Edna Weiland. Relatives and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home on February 5, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at Steinmann Mennonite Church on February 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
