Catherine Dorothy ZENSNER

Catherine Dorothy Zensner, nee Bondan, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, at the age of 84, after a brief illness. Born on November 11, 1941, in Schoendorf, Romania, she immigrated to Canada with her mother and sister in 1956 and settled in Kitchener. She is survived by her beloved husband, Karl; her children, Linda and Robert, and his wife Yvonne; her sister, Anna-Maria Andrasch, and her husband Kasper; nephew, Marc Weber, and his wife Brenna; niece, Ingrid Kauck; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Erika and Rudi Liebald. She was predeceased by her parents, Josef and Katharina Bondan, and her sister, Elisabeth Weber. Catherine will be deeply missed by her many friends, including her lifelong friends known as the 'Gang'. The family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre on August 21 and 22, and her life will be celebrated in the chapel at the funeral home on August 22 at 12 noon.
