Billy Parker

Billy Parker passed away peacefully at his home in Kitchener on August 5, 2026, at the age of 28, after a long battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was the beloved son of Mike and Joan, and is survived by his grandmother Anne Wunder. Billy was predeceased by his grandparents Bill and Audrey Parker and Bob Wunder. He will be deeply missed by his parents, as well as his aunts and uncles, Bev and Herb, Dave and Kelly, Tim and Cathy, and Linda and Mike, and his cousins, Aaron, Natalie, Nathan, Jake, Kate, Emily, Andrea, David, and Nicole. A private family service will be held to honour Billy's life, with funeral arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Defeat Duchenne Canada, either at the funeral home or online. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Stephen Keleher of KW Hospice Palliative Care Team, the CarePartner nurses, Gord Alton, Spiritual Care Provider with Lisaard and Innisfree Hospice, for their compassionate care and support of Billy.
