Bernice Hollohan

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Bernice Hollohan of Kitchener, Ontario, who departed this life on October 16, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on June 20, 1946, Bernice was predeceased by her parents, John Miller and Anna Miller of St. Clements, and her sister, Rita. She is survived by her devoted husband, Wayne; her daughters, Julia Hollohan (Gerhard) and Jaya Lorilee Hollohan; her brothers, Eugene (Leslie), Frank (Wendy), John (Tracie), Tom (Dianne), and Bill (Judy); as well as her siblings-in-law, Judy Hollohan-Raben (Bert), Mary Ann Schweitzer (Rick), Helen Hollohan (Terry), and Stephen Hollohan. Bernice is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd., located at 507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5. A funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, situated at 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo, ON N2L1N5. Following the Mass, a burial will be conducted at 2:00 PM at Parkview Cemetery, located at 335 University Ave E, Waterloo, ON N2K4P4. Donations may be made to the CHEO Foundation, WRHN Foundation, or the Alzheimer's Society-Waterloo Wellington. Donations can be made at the funeral home or directly through the charity's website.
