Bernard Weinstein

Bernard Weinstein of Kitchener, ON, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026, at The Village of Winston Park, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Weinstein (nee Schmidt). Bernard is survived by his dear children, Michael (Betty), Stephen (Ellen), and Mark, as well as his granddaughters, Janet (Mack) and Melanie (Ethan). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends. A lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and a dedicated parishioner and usher at St. Anne's RC Church, Bernard enjoyed riding his bike around town and socializing with friends at the Legion. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, May 14th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, with prayers at 7:30 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 15th, at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Parish, followed by a reception at the Waterloo Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
