Athanasios "Tom" Gogos

Athanasios 'Tom' Gogos passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, at the age of 87, days after celebrating his 87th birthday. Born in Sklithro, Greece, Tom came to Canada in 1958 and made Kitchener his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Ioannis and Marika Gogos, and sister Nitsa. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carol, and his loving children, Maria Snelgrove, René Houston, and Kathy Gogos. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Brooklyn, Reese, Karsten, and Russell, as well as his brother Jimmy, sister Peggy, and their families. Visitation will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home on Saturday, April 18 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 19 from 9:30-10:15 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at 10:30 a.m. and will be live streamed. In lieu of flowers, donations to the WHRN Foundation- Renal and Cardiac Care units are appreciated.
